Dr. Rodrigo Sarmento

Dr. Rodrigo Sarmento is honored to make Sharma Oral Surgery his professional home, where he brings a commitment to exceptional patient care and surgical excellence. A native of Brazil, Dr. Sarmento grew up across several U.S. states, including Alabama, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital and UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas—one of the most prestigious training programs in the country. His clinical interests include wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, and the management of TMJ disorders.

Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, Dr. Sarmento is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals from all backgrounds. He looks forward to serving the patients and referring offices that make up the Sharma Oral Surgery community.
