Dr. Rodrigo Sarmento, DMD MD - Charlotte, NC

A native of Brazil, Dr. Sarmento grew up across several U.S. states, including Alabama, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital and UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas—one of the most prestigious training programs in the country. His clinical interests include wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, and the management of TMJ disorders.

Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, Dr. Sarmento is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals from all backgrounds.
